2019 John Lucas Top 160 – 6 foot and Over

HOUSTON, TEXAS – John Lucas Top 160 invitation only camp is a household name when it comes to grassroots basketball. Absolutely love Top 160 the talent level makes it the premier camp to bring the best of the best at all positions regardless of class. Coach Lucas and staff does excellent job teaching and preparing the girls for the next level. Top 160 added a new wrinkle to camp this year with addition of a 3 on 3 USAB qualifier. Coach Lucas went a step further providing transportation to Colorado Springs for the champions as well as the runner ups. We had the pleasure of checking out the action at this year’s John Lucas Top 160 with players representing 29 states and the District of Columbia. Several players caught and kept our eye here are several standouts that are 6 foot and over in 2021 and 2022 classes:

2022 6-4 Janiah Barker Tampa, FL – Long athletic runs floor, showed ability to play all five positions, rebounds well both ends, solid defender multiple position, great frame, nice low post moves. Clearly one of the most versatile prospects in nation regardless of class.

2022 6-2 Faith Shelton Stockton, CA – Nice frame long athletic, rebounds well, runs floor, hustles, good job finishing in the paint, nice face up game, loves to gravitate to 3 point arc where she is consistent 3pt stroke, solid defender on perimeter and in the paint, court vision and good passer. Showed ability to play multiple positions. Must watch. Chance to be special.

2022 6-0 Ruby Whitehorn G/F Harper Woods, MI – Solid guard forward takes care of the rock, disruptive defender, excellent court vision and passer, High IQ, attack and finishes at the rim, 3 point shooter, attacks flourishes in up-tempo game, creates and scores from turnovers. Fun to watch

2022 6-5 Fatima Dikhate – College frame runs the floor, finishes well in the paint, and rebounds well both ends, nice face up game. Solid defender. Tremendous upside. Continue to watch.

2021 6-2 Makayla Timpson Blakely, GA – Long athletic, good hands, rebounds well, sprints the floor, battles both ends, serious hops, finishes off the break. Good defender.

2021 6-3 Karoline Striplin Hartford, AL – College body, good handles, rebounds well both ends, solid defender on ball and in the post, well rounded offensively, major DI potential.

2021 6-3 Maria Gakdeng Lanham, MD – Athletic long, very active on boards, runs floors, decent low post game finishes well, solid defender, DI prospect.

2021 6-0 Morasha Wiggins Kalamazoo, MI – Long athletic good frame, nice 3pt stroke, midrange jumper, Solid defender, High major prospect.

2022 6-4 Isuneh Brady San Diego, CA – Dominate low post presence at both ends, rebounds well, good handles, runs floor, can knock down midrange to 3pt shot, court vision and good passer, Special talent

2022 6-0 Jordana Codio Jupiter, FL – Long athletic, midrange jumper, attacks both end, solid defender and continue to watch

2022 6-1 Saniyah Glenn Staten Island, NY – Good size long athletic, good command of dribble, battles both ends, solid frame, solid defender.

2022 6-0 Ayanna Thompson Desoto, TX – Athletic, good handles, long frame, nice 3pt stroke, rebounds well, continue to watch

2022 6-6 Kennedy Basham Phoenix, AZ – Good length, runs floor, rebounds both ends, finishes in paint, developing low post game, huge upside, can’t teach 6-6! Watch

2021 6-2 Sara Puckett Muscle Shoals, AL – College ready body, works both ends, not flashy simply gets the job done! Well rounded game offensively and defensively. Consistent and seldom makes mistakes. Nice 3pt stroke. Major DI talent

2021 6-2 Iyanna Rogers Glen Allen, VA – Long athletic, runs floor, nice low post game, active and willing defender. Plays hard both ends.

2021 6-1 Kiya Dorroh Tucson, AZ – Good size, smooth game, runs floor, rebounds well, solid defender, good handles, good passer, nice shooting touch
