Montgomery, AL – Hello basketball fans and welcome to the “first ever” Prentice Beverly Skills Academy. The academy is where players come to display their skills, have their basketball I.Q. tested, and be evaluated on their strengths and weaknesses. The camp is not only for the athletes, but parents also. In addition to the on the court rigors, Coach Beverly enlightens the parents on the recruiting process and what to be aware of (the pros and cons), and how best to go about dealing with it. He strongly and emphatically tells parents, not to be sold “a dream.” Know that it takes hard work, dedication, and relentless effort along with their talents to reach their goals. Parents you are and always will be the most important factor in helping your child achieve their goals, and fulfill their dreams! He also provides a Q&A session with players and parents, giving them the opportunity to ask any and all questions they may have.

A special thanks goes out to Reed Sutton, Head Women’s Basketball Coach of the Faulkner Lady Eagles, for his time, knowledge, and excellent tutelage.
