HONOLULU, Hawaii – Jam On It Basketball presented the Pacific Rim Championship which saw over 150 teams on the island of Oahu. We had a chance to look at some up and coming talent. May we suggest you keep eyes on the following future ballers:



Emmy Stout 6-2 Rebels San Diego (CA) – Good size, runs floor, finishes well, good hands. Tremendous upside.

Ledjan “Bonez” Pahukoa 5-9 CON3 JACK Makawao,(HI) – Deadly from behind the arc, Good command of her dribble, Solid defender and jumps passing lanes, Great court vision and passer. #Chance2BSpecial

Taimane Faleafine-Auwae 6-1 Lahaina Girls Lahaina, (HI) – Long arms, runs floor, fundamentally sound boxes out, Solid defender blocks shots. Decent low post game. Finishes well in paint. Communicates well. High IQ. Huge upside. Continue to watch.

Margie Ann Sana 5-5 Lahaina Girls Lahaina, (HI) – Solid point guard feisty tough defender, pushes the rock little floor general. Fun to watch. Watch.

Theresa Anakalea 5-5 Lightning Kailua, (HI) – Quick guard good handles sweet 3pt Stroke. Good on ball defender.

Laynee Torres 5-6 Lightning Kaneohe, (HI) – Tough PG good handles loves to attach, Pushes the rock exceptional court vision and passer. Communicates and a solid defender. Coach on the floor.


Marlissa Watson 6-2 KOA Wahine Kailua, (HI) – Great size rebounds well at both ends. Communicates well. Has a nice shooting touch. Defends wells. Runs floor. Offense is still a work in progress. Long arms still developing. Huge upside. Continue to watch.

Juliana Losalio-Watson 5-7 Kona Stingrays Ocean View, (HI) – Athletic guard high IQ good passer with court vision. Nice shooting touch. Defends attacks off the bounce.

Kailiana Salazar-Harrell 5-3 Kamuela, (HI) – Small but feisty great handles plays with SWAG. Defends well. Good spot up 3pt shooter. Fearless tough loves to attack the paint. Sweet stroke. Has a chance. Continue to watch.


Maya Claytor 5-6 Dream Hoops Elite Wahiawa, (HI) – Shooter alert! Knocked down multiple three pointers in several viewings good looking stroke catch and shoot. Nice midrange jumper. Solid frame, Decent rebounder and decent ball handler. Continue to watch.

Dionna Woodson 5-7 Dream Hoops Elite Honolulu, (HI) – Smooth long athletic point guard, Great handles, good on ball defender and jumps passing lanes. Attacks the paint. Needs to further develop perimeter game. Chance to a top division PG.

Lily Wahinekapu 5-6 Team Stingrays Kailua Kona, (HI) – Exceptional PG runs the show, basketball IQ. Pushes the ball attacks both ends. Great job getting into the paint looking to dish or score. Good on ball defender. Court vision and passer. Three point shooting touch. High energy. Fun to watch. Definite major DI prospect.


Anaulei Tuivai 6-1 Top Notch Maui Maui, (HI) – Long arms. Strong low post presence, Likes to face up and attack off the dribble. Rebounds the ball at the highest point. Runs floor and battles both ends. High energy. Good footwork. Low to mid major prospect.

Caiyle Kaupu 6-0 Team Stingrays Kailua Kona, (Hi) – College build good handles, showed ability to play with back to basket. Nice face up game attacks of the dribble and finishes or draws the foul. Solid defenders. Rebounds well both ends. Decent midrange jumper. DI prospect.
